About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Youth Support Worker to join our dedicated team and lead inspiring, engaging youth programmes across Bath and North East Somerset. This is your chance to take the lead in delivering fun, purposeful sessions that uplift and empower young people and help shape futures full of promise.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Leading youth sessions in Odd Down, Farmborough & Bath City Centre.
🔹 Designing engaging programmes tailored to young people's needs.
🔹 Managing, supporting, and mentoring a small team of staff and volunteers.
🔹 Ensuring smooth session delivery with a clear plan and positive energy.
🔹 Working a pattern that predominantly covers early to late evenings, with some daytime hours—Thursday and Friday evenings are essential.
🔹 Travelling independently to multiple locations to deliver high-quality youth work where it’s needed most.
Qualifications and Experience:
🔹 Experience working with young people in varied settings.
🔹 Strong leadership skills and a collaborative spirit.
🔹 Creativity, flexibility, and a deep commitment to youth development.
🔹 Willingness to work a mix of afternoon and evening hours.
🔹 Ability to travel across Bath and Somerset to reach different communities.
