About the Role
The Finance Trustee provides strategic oversight and assurance on financial governance, sustainability and risk. This is a non-executive, voluntary role focused on governance rather than day-to-day financial management.
We currently have a Finance Trustee in post and are planning a supported handover period for the new Finance Trustee to ensure continuity, confidence and a smooth transition for the organisation and Board.
Working alongside the Chair, Chief Executive Officer, Head of Finance, and fellow trustees, the Finance Trustee plays a key role in ensuring YCSW remains financially resilient and able to deliver high quality services with and alongside children and young people. This role would suit someone with experience of senior financial oversight, strategic finance or financial governance, who is motivated to use their skills to support a values led youth charity.
