WHAT IS REALISING TALENT

​

Realising Talent is a programme funded by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) to support young people in year 10 and 11 into a positive outcome post 16.  Young people are identified by their schools, and YCSW Key Workers deliver a range of group and 1:1 interventions focused on engaging them with education, developing skills and helping them make a successful transition to college, apprenticeship or other training.

REAL IMPACTS OF THE PROGRAMME

• Students developed a more focussed approach towards FE and in turn more focus on completing the work to get them where they want to be after college.

• More active engagement in education

• Active engagement in finding and applying for jobs

• More active engagement in education / revision
