FIND YOUR FREEDOM WITH TEEN BREAKOUT

We are partnering with Bath Rugby Foundation and BAN&S Council this summer to offer activities as part of the summer BreakOut programme as the lead provider for the Teen BreakOut sessions. Find out more below!
Following on from 15 long months in lockdown, we believe all teenagers deserve to have a spectacular summer this year. To make sure this happens, Youth Connect South West have partnered with Bath Rugby Foundation, Bath Area Play Project, FareShare South West, Mentoring Plus, Bath Youth for Christ and B&NES Council to deliver to local teenagers who are entitled to receive free school meals across B&NES, our biggest and best ever Summer BreakOut yet!
WHAT IS BREAKOUT?
Working across B&NES at multiple hubs, Youth Connect South West, Bath Rugby Foundation, Bath Area Play Project and partners will deliver a fun and powerful package of summer activities including sports, exercise and creative activities, as well as nutritious food, for all attendees to enjoy.
WHO IS BREAKOUT FOR?
Teen BreakOut is open to young adults aged 12-16, with hubs available in; Keynsham, Twerton, Paulton, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Timsbury, Foxhill and Weston. Spaces are prioritised to those who are entitled to receive free school meals across B&NES.
Teens can book to enjoy social time, music, art and sports activities, as well as health and wellbeing workshops that have been designed specifically for their age group.
FIVE TOP REASONS TO ATTEND BREAKOUT
BreakOut offers the opportunity for children, young people, and families to be more active, to enjoy healthy meals and to socialise.
BreakOut can help to offer a childcare financial reprieve for families on low income throughout the summer holidays.
Attendees will work with our expert hub leaders to build confidence and life skills, providing a pathway to a brighter future.
Time spent at BreakOut will help to improve physical and mental health, giving children a better chance when returning to school.
All families will be able to access signposting towards other information and support, such as health, education, and employment, should they require it.
