BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
B&NES Council is our core contract which enables us to fund the amazing work we do! As well as funding our core activities B&NES funds our youth work around the Bath area.
We have worked with Bath College on a variety of projects but have two main ones. Learning 4 Work is a course for young people who would like to gain skills and experience for work but cannot do a mainstream college course. Bath College also works with us to run our realising talent project which supports young people in year 10 and 11 into a positive outcome post 16.
BATH RUGBY FOUNDATION
Working with the Bath Rugby Foundation we were able to provide a fun-filled package of activities over the Easter break for children on the free school meal. The activities included craft activities, sports, play, mentoring, DJ’ing, music just to name a few! This provision was part of the Holiday Activities Food programme funded by the Department for Education through B&NES Council.
PROJECT 28 - DHI
We work closely with Project 28 to provide detached youth work around Bath City Centre. We have run detached sessions to help reduce serious violence in young people within Bath.
PAULTON PARISH COUNCIL
Our detached work around the Paulton area is funded by the Paulton Parish Council. We deliver an outreach service every Friday in the Paulton area. Paulton Parish Council have funded our mobile youth bus open access provision.
RADSTOCK PARISH COUNCIL
Our detached work around the Radstock area is funded by the Radstock Parish Council. We deliver an outreach service every Monday in the Radstock area. Radstock Parish Council have funded our open access youth club provision, street based detached work and targeted group work
SOMER VALLEY EDUCATION TRUST
Our Street2Studio programme works in partnership with Somer Valley Education Trust. Street2Studio is run from a professional music recording studio in the Southside Youth Hub, trainees come in for one day a week building skills around recording, editing and all aspects of music production, as well as developing an understanding of the wider music industry.
TIMSBURY PARISH COUNCIL
Our detached work around the Timsbury area is funded by the Timsbury Parish Council. We deliver an outreach service every Tuesday in the Timsbury area. Timsbury Parish Council have funded our mobile youth bus open access provision.
WESTFIELD PARISH COUNCIL
Our detached work around the Westfield area is funded by the Westfield Parish Council. We deliver an outreach service in the Westfield area. Westfield Parish Council have funded our open access youth club provision. Due to the impact of COVID 19, the team stopped youth club provision and adapted to delivering street based detached work throughout the pandemic. The Westfield team plan to go back into running open access youth club provision at the end of June.
